Easter Remembrance

The Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead on the third day after being nailed to the cross at Calvary in 30 AD. His horrific suffering for our sins has sustained Christians in the belief that we will join Him at our original home called heaven.  As we get older and lose our friends and relatives to death we know that this place exists because those special people have given us signs here on earth that they are alive and well in a place of peace and comfort.

I as a medium have many stories to tell about seeing the deceased appear to me in dreams, my house and in church.  When I feel a coldness around my shoulders from nowhere, I know it is a loved one just letting me know that he or she is around.  The coldness is not bad but different. It is the in-between place we cross from life on earth to death and then to spiritual life in eternity.

Since I do work with people of all races and religions, I speak for myself and fellow Christians at this special time.  Easter is a time of spring planting and fertility. Spring brings new life to our planet with the trees budding, grass turning green, birds returning to our colder states and the snow melting into the ground, rivers and lakes.

I ask that you focus on the good memories you have of this special time which is normally shared with family and friends at your local church service and eating a lovely slow cooked ham with scalloped potatoes.

Covid-19 will pass and our focus this Easter is to be safe where we are and not to mingle with family or friends to avoid spreading the killer virus. It is a small sacrifice that we will be making compared to having large hand-forged spikes nailed into our hands and feet with a spear gouged into our sides; left to bleed out with vinegar on our tongue and thorns deeply pressed into our head and forehead. We acknowledge His saving presence and grace in our lives today.

May the remembrance of Easter’s past be with you at this most trying time in our country which has been rich in blessings and freedom for all of us throughout the years. Easter blessings to you and yours!
